As I talk to Gold Members on the road, one request I've had is for more home-grown marketing samples. Well, there's nothing more home-grown than a good ol' fashioned letter to prospects.
And with the economy and political landscape the way it is right now, people are more skeptical than ever of someone claiming they can help. A letter is a great opportunity to introduce yourself, build trust and develop a relationship with your hungry fish. It works whether you decide to send a 1-page letter or a 16-page letter (listen to Bob Bly's comments about the debate over long copy vs. short copy in this month's teleseminar before you make decision!) Be sure to follow my PASS technique to get the best response. Here's a great example to help you as you brush up on your letter-writing skills.
